Linda Fowler and the Foreign Relations Committee

For Episode 6 of Campaign Context Professor Linda Fowler (Dartmouth College) joined me for a discussion on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, providing both historical context and insight into how it affects topical issues for the campaign. Fowler is an expert on Congress and her new book Watchdogs on the Hill: The Decline of Congressional Oversight of U.S. Foreign Relations explores the role of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and Congressional influence on foreign policy. Her previous two books deal with candidates for Congress, Political Ambition: Who Decides to Run for Congress and Candidates, Congress and the American Democracy.
